On margins of Ministerial Meeting on Security Council reform, Minister Jandroković met with foreign ministers of Spain, Malta, and Italy

Minister Moratinos expressed full support for the soon completion of Croatia’s EU negotiations, stressing the necessity of continuing the dialogue about the solution to the border issue between Croatia and Slovenia, based on the principles of the international law. He also emphasized the importance of Croatia’s pending NATO accession.

Minister Jandroković also met with Vice-Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Malta Tonio Borg, who lent full support for the completion of Croatia’s accession negotiations, as well as to the implantation of the reforms in Croatia. He expressed understanding for Croatia’s positions regarding the Croatia-Slovenia border dispute.

Later in the day, Minister Jandroković also met with Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini.
