The foreign ministers reviewed the all-inclusive reform of the UN, with an emphasis on the reform of the Security Council as its most demanding component.

In his speech, Minister Jandroković said that the current structure and functioning of the SC does not reflect the reality of the 21st century international relations. He pointed out the necessity of finding the solutions and modalities that would, along with expansion, ensure a greater efficiency and transparency of the SC activities, with the aim of strengthening the ability to respond to global threats and challenges. He added that Croatia is especially active in the reform process as a non-permanent SC member as well.

In the afternoon, Minister Jandroković also met with representatives of the Croatian community in Italy, the Molise Croats, and representatives of the Croatian institutions in the Italian Republic.
