Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić attended 12 July 2017 in Trieste a meeting of foreign ministers, held as part of the Berlin Process Summit. The meeting, hosted by Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano, saw the attendance of the foreign ministers of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia, ministers and representatives of the Berlin Process participating EU states (Austria, France, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia and Great Britain), Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, as well as representatives of regional organizations (CEI, RCC, AII) and RYCO.
The meeting discussed common challenges such as fighting terrorism and radicalization, migrations, political dimension of regional cooperation, as well as dialogue with the civil society and youth representatives.
Pejčinović Burić, as a member of the delegation of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, also attended the Berlin Process Summit and the talks with president of the Croatian Trieste Community and president of the Federation of Croatian Associations in Italy Damir Murković.
