Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul sent letters of condolences to foreign ministers of South and Southeast Asian countries devastated by the earthquake and the ensuing tsunami

Croatian ambassadors to India and Indonesia relayed Minister Žužul’s letters to India’s Foreign Minister K. Natwar Singh, Indonesia’s Foreign Minister Nur Hassan Wirajuda, Thailand’s Foreign Minister Surakiat Sathirathai, Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgarmar and Maldives’ Foreign Minister Fathulla Jameel.

Minister Žužul expressed deepest condolences on behalf of the Croatia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the ministers and the people of India, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Maldives on the devastation and the enormous death toll caused by the earthquake and the ensuing tsunami.
