Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul received today, 19 April 2004, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Zagreb, Carlos Magarinos, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
Minister Žužul and Director General Magarinos discussed the co-operation between Croatia and UNIDO so far, which they described as very successful, pointing out the possibility for upgrading it even further. Croatia would become the region’s strategic partner of UNIDO, through which other countries in the region would be affected as well. Director General Magarinos announced the activities in the field of enhancing investments and harmonising with the EU standards through a series of small and middle-sized enterprises. Minister Žužul and Director General Magarinos announced future programs, to be presented before the end of this year.
