Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul met today, 16 April 2004 in Zagreb, with President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović, who is on an official visit to Croatia
In a friendly talk, Minister Žužul and President Vujanović exchanged opinions about the situation in the region and the bilateral relations, which they described as good and in the spirit of good neighbourly co-operation, showing their readiness to further strengthen them. Euro-Atlantic dimension in a key factor in the stability of the region, Žužul and Vujanović agreed.
Montenegro’s president commended the progress Croatia has made on its way to the EU, which is of interest to the Southeast Europe. Vojanović called Croatia’s businessmen to a more intensive co-operation, a stronger presence on the Montenegro market and a stronger connection between the border areas. Minister Žužul and President Vojanović particularly discussed the situation in the region, as well as the activities that might contribute to solving the problems and strengthening the democratic processes and stability in certain part of the region.
