Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul met today in Vienna with Austrian Foreign Minister Benita Ferrero-Waldner
Foreign Ministers Žužul and Ferrero-Waldner expressed their satisfaction with economic co-operation and the overall bilateral relations between the two countries. Minister Žužul announced that Croatian will soon, maybe as soon as March, begin solving the open issue of importing beef from Austria, as well as the issues of returning the nationalised property to Austrian citizens and the return of archive material from the era of Austro-Hungarian empire to Croatia. The Croatian side obliged to, in agreement with Sloivenia, conduct a seismological terrain research around Nuclear Power Plant Krško. The research is sponsored by Austria through European funds.
