Croatian MFA successfully ended the process of gathering and shipping humanitarian aid to Iran

Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Croatian Government, successfully ended the process of gathering and shipping humanitarian aid to the city of Bam, Iran, devastated by an earthquake at the end of last year

The second shipment consisted of Pliva medicines, Jamnica and Vindija products, medical supplies donated by the city of Karlovac and blankets donated by the Croatian Ministry of Defence. During the action, that met with a positive response by the Croatian companies, government administration bodies and the Croatian citizens, invaluable help was also provided by Croatian Airlines, Pleso Airport, Zagreb Fair, the companies Končar, Agrokor, Podravka, Belupo, LURA, shipping agency InterEuropa-Sajam and the Ministry of Economy, labour and Entrepreneurship. Apart from the donations by Croatian companies, co-ordinated on behalf of the Croatian government by the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the shipment included donations by the Croatian citizens gathered by the Croatian Red Cross ad the Bosnian Community of Croatia for the Sisačko-moslavačka county. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Croatian government, wishes to thank all those who contributed in gathering and shipping humanitarian aid to Iran.
