Minister Žužul and Minister Grabar Kitarović met today in Zagreb with ambassadors of the EU members
Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul and European Integrations Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarović with associates had today, 7 February 2005 in Zagreb, a working lunch with ambassadors of the EU members and candidate countries accredited to Croatia
Minister Žužul and Minister Grabar Kitarović thanked the ambassadors for their participation and co-operation on the eve of Croatia’s membership negotiations with the EU. The Croatian ministers familiarised the ambassadors with the facts regarding the negotiations, conformed Croatia’s readiness and pointed out the Croatian Government’s political consensus concerning the negotiations with and acceding to the EU.
Žužul and Grabar Kitarović stressed the importance of starting the negotiations on the set date, both for Croatia and the SEE region as a whole.
