Minister Pusić urges citizens to vote in European Parliament elections

It will enable us to decide on our broader homeland – Europe, which has great influence on our immediate homeland Croatia,” Pusić said, speaking about the oncoming elections to the European Parliament scheduled for 14 April. Since these are first such elections for Croatia, they will be of great importance, as well as a rehearsal of sorts for the general European elections to be held next year in all of the 28 member states, the minister said. 

Pusić today in Zagreb attended a conference on the occasion of the Single Market Week that focused on using the internal market for the sale of Croatian products and services, free movement of capital and workers, and coordination of social security systems. 

Speaking about the EU accession process, Pusić said Croatia was brining in experience that would be of use to other countries too, as well as a responsibility to stabilize a region that is of great importance to Europe – Southeast Europe.
