Minister Pusić to visit Sarajevo

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić will pay an official visit to Sarajevo on Wednesday

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić will pay an official visit to Sarajevo on Wednesday, where she will meet with her Bosnian counterpart Igor Crnadak, Prime Minister Denis Zvizdić and members of the country's three-member Presidency and a collegium of parliamentarians.

One of the key topics of the talks will be Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path since November 2014, when the EU foreign ministers agreed to greenlight a German-British plan to revive Bosnia's membership bid. The British-German initiative was launched following a proposal by Croatia for a new approach. At the meeting in Brussels this March, the Foreign Affairs Council adopted a conclusion to unfreeze the EU-BiH Stabilization and Association Agreement.

Bosnia's stability and its European path are important for the stability of the entire region which is of key interest for Croatia and Pusić's visit is part of the preparations for a meeting of the EU foreign ministers and BiH representatives organised by Croatia, to be held in Luxembourg early next week.
