First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić received today the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Alessandro D'Errico. The talks focused on bilateral relation between the Republic of Croatia and the Holy See, and on topical issues concerning relations between the state and the Catholic Church in Croatia.

In accordance with the word of Pope Francis, both sides underlined the need for a constant dialogue as the only way to reconcile different view and find compromise solutions.

Pusić and D'Errico also discussed the status of Croat Catholics in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the difficulties of their return and employment.
