Expressing satisfaction that Slovakia was the first EU member to ratify Croatia’s accession treaty, Pusić thanked the Slovakian parliament, government, Foreign Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda, and Slovakian Ambassador to Croatia Roman Supek for their contribution, pointing out that the treaty had been ratified unanimously. She added that that was an important event, a positive message of friendship from Slovakia, as well as excellent and encouraging news.
