Minister Picula signed the Book of Condolences on the occasion of the violent death of Ms. Anne Lindh....

On 15 September 2003, Mr. Tonino Picula, the Croatian Foreign Minister, signed the Book of Condolences which had been opened at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in Zagreb on the occasion of the violent death of Ms. Anne Lindh, Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs.

By expressing his horror at this senseless act of violence, Minister Picula stressed that “the tragic death of Ms. Lindh is a great loss for her family and the Swedish Government, as well as for him and the Croatian Government which has lost a dear friend and an important colleague”.
