Minister Picula received Mrs Yael Rubinsteinin, the new Ambassador of the State of Israel...

On 9 July 2003, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Tonino Picula, received in inaugural visit the new Ambassador of the State of Israel, Yael Rubinstein. Wishing the Ambassador welcome and success in her new office, the Minister outlined the main aspects of Croatia's home and foreign policies, particularly with regard to the internal reform and the process of joining the European Union.

Expressing her satisfaction with beginning her duty in Croatia during the visit of the President of the State of Israel, Moshe Katsava, to Croatia, Ambassador Rubinstein positively evaluated the bilateral relations between Croatia and Israel, expressing her hope for continuing deepening of relations in all areas.
