Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula received the first non-resident Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Republic of Croatia, Hoang Van Nha, in a farewell visit on 26. June 2003.
Minister Picula thanked Ambassador Hoang Van Nha for his contribution to the improvement of bilateral relations.
Ambassador Hoang Van Nha said it was and honour and pleasure for him to serve as the first non-resident Ambassador of Vietnam to Croatia, expressing hopes for further development of good bilateral relations.
A wish was voiced that the visits of Croatia's president and MFA to Vientam may take place as soon as possible.
