MFA Tonino Picula had an informal meeting with the Ambassador of the Palestine Authority to the Republic of Hungary, H.E. Khaled Ghazala.
The Palestinian Ambassador informed Minister Picula about the current state of Palestinian-Israeli relations, stressing that the leadership of the Palestinian Authority supported further dialogue with Israel and condemned the terrorist acts of the radicals.
Croatian side expressed its regret because of the aggravating conditions, stating it hoped the dialogue would be resumed and the Israeli-Palestinian talks continued. Possibilities for cooperation between Croatia and the Palestinian Authority in the economy and culture were also discussed.
