On 30 September 2003, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the United States of America participated in the Ambassadors Ball in Washington, held for the 25th time this year.
At the silent auction, at which funds are raised to the benefit of the American Society of Multiple Sclerosis, the Croatian Embassy offered one of the most valuable awards - two week stay in Zagreb and Dubrovnik, with aeroplane tickets for two persons.
The gifts were provided by the Croatian Tourist Community and the Croatian Airlines. Mr. Paul Kunder, Croatian by origin, bought this award.
