On that occasion, Minister Vesna Pusić met with Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Roćen in Podgorica. The two ministers signed a Euro-Atlantic Partnership Agreement between the Republic of Croatia and Montenegro.

This Agreement confirms the mutual willingness to establish and develop a Euro-Atlantic partnership that will contribute to Montenegro's integration into the European Union and NATO, and will affirm the European values in bilateral and regional cooperation. In that sense, the Republic of Croatia will make available all its specific knowledge, experiences and expertise from the accession negotiation process with the European Union and NATO. Pursuant to the signed Agreement, Croatia and Montenegro will also take on joint cross-border cooperation projects, including infrastructure projects that could compete for financial resources from the European Union funds.

In Podgorica, Minister Vesna Pusić was also received by Montenegrin President Filip Vujanović and President of the Montenegrin Parliament Ranko Krivokapić.

During the morning, Minister Vesna Pusić met in Kotor with the representatives of the Croatian minority in Montenegro: president of the Croatian Civil Society Mirko Vičević, president of the Croatian National Council of Montenegro Miroslav Franović, president of the Croatian community association Dux Croatorum Zvonimir Deković and representative of the Croatian Civil Initiative in the Montenegrin Parliament Ljerka Dragićević.

Minister Pusić also met with Monsignor Ilija Janjić, bishop of the Kotor Diocese.
