Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received on 9 November 2007 the US Ambassador to NATO Victoria Nuland
Minister Grabar-Kitarović pointed out that the implemented reforms are progressive and sustainable, and that their implementation remains Croatia’s priority, adding that an ongoing dialogue about the whole process is taking place with the Croatian public, aimed at soliciting a valid support for all of the reforms, as well as the membership in the Euro-Atlantic alliances. “Croatia remains firmly dedicated to continuing along its path towards the EU and NATO, on which there is a clear political consensus”, concluded Minister Grabar-Kitarović.
Ambassador Nuland positively reviewed Croatia’s success in conducting the reforms towards NATO membership, expressing optimism as regards the Bucharest Summit.
Minister Grabar-Kitarović and Ambassador Nuland, in the spirit of positive relations, reviewed the bilateral co-operation between the two countries, namely in issues concerning the Euro-Atlantic integration, and exchanged opinions about the current issues and state of affairs in South Eastern Europe.
