Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković spoke over the phone with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Vuk Jeremić, expressing strongest protest over the attack on the Croatian Embassy and Consulate in Belgrade that took place on 21 February 2008
Minister Jandroković requested immediate reaction of the relevant Serbian bodies, asking to be fully informed of the measures undertaken. He stated his expectation that the perpetrators would be found and punished as soon as possible, and requested that the safety of the employees of the Croatian Embassy and Consulate to Belgrade be fully guaranteed.
Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić expressed his regret over the attack on the Croatian Embassy and Consulate, pointing out that the relevant Serbian bodies are undertaking all the necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
