The two collocutors agreed that Croatia and the UK have achieved a high level of bilateral co-operation, as evidenced among other things by a series of highest-level interstate meetings. Minister Jandroković familiarised Ambassador Blunt with the course of Croatia’s EU and NATO negotiations, pointing out that Croatia appreciates UK’s continuous support in its process of accessing to the Euro-Atlantic integration and expressing hope that the successful co-operation with the UK Embassy in Croatia would continue.

Ambassador Blunt pointed out Britain’s strong support for Croatia’s EU and NATO membership and communicated the readiness to continually support Croatia during its negotiation process.

The meeting also discussed the continuation of implementing the 2008/2009 Strategic Partnership between Croatia and Great Britain, a key document for the promotion of further co-operation between the two countries.

The two collocutors also exchanged opinions about the current state of affairs in the region and Croatia’s role in spreading the stability zone in South Eastern Europe.
