Minister Jandroković participated in UN Security Council open session on Near East

The session's key discussion points were the continuation of the peace process in the Near East and the building of Jewish settlements in disputed areas

The session, whose key discussion points included continuation of the peace process in the Near East and the building of Jewish settlements in disputed areas, saw the participation of numerous ministers and state secretaries, including US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, et al.

In his presentation, Minister Jandroković pointed out the importance of continuing the Annapolis process and conducting the planned activities.

In that regard, the emphasized that it is vital to ensure a peaceful and just solution for the Near Eastern crisis, based on the establishment of the two countries – Israel and Palestine, whose people will live alongside each other in peace, security, and co-operation, with a mutual respect for the interstate borders.
