Minister Jandroković participated in Europe Week marking programme and EU Bus arrival in Zagreb
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković participated today in Zagreb in the Europe Day marking programme and the arrival of the EU Bus. Also present were the Head of the European Commission’s Delegation to Croatia, Vincent Degert, and representatives of the EU members’ embassies accredited to Croatia. The programme of marking the Europe Day also saw the presence of the Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Family, Veterans’ Affairs and Intergenerational Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor
Ambassador Degert agreed with the need for continuously informing the citizens about the EU, adding that the activities of the Europe Week effectively contribute to that.
Its arrival in Zagreb completes the EU Bus’ tour, which was once again organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the European Commission’s Delegation to Croatia, on the occasion of the Croatia-wide observing of the Europe Week 2-10 May 2008.
Minister Jandroković, Ambassador Degert, and other officials took the EU Bus in front of the MFAEI building to Cvjetni Trg, where they visited the stands of the MFAEI, EC Delegation, and EU members’ embassies, which handed out publications and informed the citizens about the EU.
At the end of the Europe Day celebration programme, Minister Jandroković and Ambassador Degert drew out winners of the EU Quiz award game.
