The collocutors exchanged opinions about the situation in the region, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s perspectives in the process of its EU and NATO accession. They agreed that it is precisely the Euro-Atlantic perspective that guarantees security and stability in Europe’s southeast. Minister Jandroković reiterated that Croatia is willing to use its experience to assist BH on its way to the Euro-Atlantic integration, which High Representative Inzko thanked for.

Minister Jandroković also pointed out once again the principles of Croatia’s policy towards BH, which is based on the support for its sovereignty and territorial integrity, constitutiveness and equality of all three nations, as well as the Euro-Atlantic perspective and constitutional changes that should lead to efficient functioning in BH.

High Representative Inzko informed Minister Jandroković about the activities of the Office of the High Representative, with both sides concluding that the constitutional changes need to result in the optimal structure of the country for all of the three constitutive nations.

The meeting also discussed the BH Act on the Protection of Domestic Production within CEFTA, whereby Minister Jandroković pointed out the harmfulness of its repeated implementation, both to Croatia and the region as a whole.
