Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman on Wednesday met with a delegation of the France-Croatia Parliamentary Friendship Group led by Liliana Tanguy, Head of the France-Croatia Parliamentary Friendship Group at the French National Assembly.
The interlocutors underscored satisfaction with the friendly relations between Croatia and France, underpinned by the implementation of the Strategic Partnership and periodic Action Plans in a number of areas, such as economy, science and culture.
Apart from bilateral, the interlocutors discussed topical European matters, such as enlargement, situation in Southeast Europe and the importance of admitting Croatia into the Schengen Area, Eurozone and MED7. They also discussed preparations for France’s EU presidency in 2022 as well as stronger cooperation and coordination within EU institutions. Grlić Radman underlined Croatia’s strong support for the French presidency’s initiatives in the common fight against the pandemic and dealing with the challenges of digital and green transformation.
