Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman attended the prestigious Večernjakova Domovnica 2025 awards ceremony on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Bad Homburg, Germany.
 
As the envoy of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, Minister Grlić Radman addressed the attendees, emphasizing that Večernjakova Domovnica is not just an award for individuals but also a strong link between Croatia and its diaspora. In his speech, he highlighted how Croatian expatriates promote the country’s identity and culture worldwide through their work and achievements. He also reiterated the importance of the diaspora, stating that it has always been a key part of Croatia’s story.
 
This prestigious annual award, organized by Večernji List and Fenix Magazin, has been presented for nearly two decades, celebrating the success of Croatians living abroad who have distinguished themselves in various fields, including sports, music, acting, and show business.
