On Friday, March 28, 2025, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman, as the envoy of the Croatian Prime Minister, attended the inauguration of the "Experience Europe" multimedia center in Zagreb. The event was also attended by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, European Commission Vice-President for the Mediterranean, Dubravka Šuica, and Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Academician Željko Reiner.

Addressing the event, Grlić Radman expressed his satisfaction with the opening of the center in the heart of Zagreb, emphasizing that it will provide easier access to citizens and contribute to greater public awareness. “We are opening another space where we can speak, listen, and reflect on Europe, fostering a culture of dialogue, inclusivity, and engagement with citizens. No matter how much we know about the European Union or how involved we are in its affairs, there is always something new to learn, something to be reminded of, and something inspiring to discover about our shared European home,” said Grlić Radman.

Highlighting the importance of reliable information in today's challenging times, he stressed the need to rely on verified and credible sources that provide a clear understanding of key issues. He noted that the "Experience Europe" multimedia center offers an opportunity to gain accurate and high-quality insights into the European Union, its functioning, policies, and the values that shape our daily lives. “European values—freedom, democracy, human rights—are the foundation of our society, and it is our moral duty to continue promoting them, especially in light of current global challenges,” said Grlić Radman. He added that the center provides young generations with a chance to participate in decision-making simulations, making these processes more tangible and less abstract. Such initiatives, he emphasized, not only bring European topics closer to citizens but also encourage active participation in European elections, which is crucial for democratic processes.

The new "Experience Europe" multimedia center is open to all visitors interested in learning more about the European Union and how its decisions impact daily life. Spanning two floors, it features an exhibition space with visually engaging content about the EU, as well as an educational role-playing activity—a simulation of the European Parliament’s legislative process designed for organized visitor groups to better understand how European laws are made.

Zagreb is the 15th European capital to host an interactive "Experience Europe" exhibition space. The first center was opened in Berlin in 2016, followed by locations in Ljubljana, Helsinki, Strasbourg, Copenhagen, Tallinn, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna, Warsaw, Prague, Luxembourg, and Dublin. The center is located in the heart of Zagreb at Bakačeva 3, open seven days a week, with free admission.
