Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received on 10 January 2007 to inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Montenegro to the Republic of Croatia, Branko Lukovac, who handed the copies of his credentials
Minister Grabar-Kitarović welcomed the first Montenegrin ambassador to Croatia, congratulating Montenegro and its people on the gaining of independence and expressing satisfaction with the setting up of the diplomatic relations between the two countries. She pointed out that Croatia is willing to transfer to Montenegro its experiences in acceding to the Euro-Atlantic integration. Both sides expressed conviction that the two countries will continue to develop friendly relations and enhance their co-operation in all of the fields, especially economy, stressing the need and readiness to intensify regional co-operation.
