Minister Grabar-Kitarović received to an inaugural visit the first Israeli residential ambassador to Croatia Shmuel Meirom

Ambassador Meirom congratulated Minister Grabar-Kitarović on behalf of the Israeli Government on Croatia’s opening the accession negotiations with the EU, stating that Israel, although not a European country, has very good relations with the EU and supports Croatia in its efforts to become a member.

Minister Grabar-Kitarović expressed her satisfaction with the existing good bilateral relations between the two countries, adding that it is in Croatia’s interest to establish firm bilateral relations and co-operation with the State of Israel.
