Minister Gordan Jandroković visited “Fans Embassy”, information center for English fans
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković visited 10 September 2008 the so-called “Fans Embassy”, an information center for English fans in the Ban Josip Jelačić Square in Zagreb
Minister Jandroković met on that occasion with the newly appointed UK Ambassador to Croatia, David Blunt, Chairman of the English Premier League Dave Richards, and the gathered Croatian and English fans. On the eve of tonight’s WC 2010 qualifying game between Croatia and England, Minister Jandroković and Ambassador Blunt wished luck and success to their respective national football teams.
The setting up of the Fans Embassy, which follows the English football team around the world, was organised by the Football Supporters Federation from England in co-operation with the UK Embassy in Zagreb.
