Minister Jandroković asked Minister Amunátegui to send condolences to the families of the people who died in this tragic accident, and to the injured he sent wishes for a speedy recovery.

Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration managed to establish contact with the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Santiago de Chile. It was confirmed that all employees at the Embassy were unharmed and that this morning’s earthquake did not damage the building of the Embassy.

The Embassy is intensively gathering the information from the competent Chilean authorities to establish whether there are any Croatian citizens among the victims and the injured.
