The two collocutors confirmed the existence of friendly relations between the two countries, as well as the very good cooperation in all areas, especially as regards the Euro-Atlantic structures.
Minister Jandroković thanked Ambassador da Silva for Portugal’s firm and continuous support for Croatia’s EU and NATO accession. He also said Croatia expects Portugal to ratify the Protocol on NATO Enlargement to Croatia soon, so that Croatia could attend the spring 2009 summit as a full-fledged member.
