Minister Gordan Jandroković received on inaugural visit Algerian Ambassador Farida Aïouaze

Congratulating Ambassador Aïouaze on her assuming of duty, Minister Jandroković also welcomed the opening of the Algerian Embassy to the Republic of Croatia, expressing his belief that it would further enhance the two countries’ bilateral relations.

The collocutors exchanged opinions about the possibilities of further interstate cooperation, pointing out its great potential, especially in economy. In that regard, the two talked about a possible visit by Minister Jandroković to Algeria.

Minister Jandroković familiarized Ambassador Aïouaze with Croatia’s main foreign-policy goals – the EU and NATO accession. The collocutors also talked about the two countries’ cooperation within the UN, while Ambassador Aïouaze commended Croatia’s engagement in the Security Council.
