Minister Gordan Jandroković received on farewell visit Russian Ambassador Mikhail Konarovsky

Minister Jandroković thanked Ambassador Konarovsky for his personal contribution to the enhancement of the bilateral relations between Croatia and Russia, which both of them described as very good an intensive in numerous areas. He pointed out that for Croatia, as a NATO and future EU member, relations with Russia would continue to hold great economic and political significance, including the intensive and responsible cooperation within multilateral organizations.

As extremely important for the two countries relations the collocutors pointed out the holding of the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technological Cooperation in February this year, whose conclusions raised the mutual economic relation to an even higher level.

Ambassador Konarovsky favourably described the Croatian Government’s decision to suspend the visa regime for Russian citizens during the summer season, expressing his belief that it would increase the number of Russian tourists visiting Croatia.
