Minister Gordan Jandroković received Ida Škevin, winner in French TV show “Questions pour un champion”

Minister Jandroković congratulated Ida Škevin on her participation and victory in the show about the French language and culture, pointing out that this too is an element contributing to the promotion of young Croatian intellectual forces, as well as Croatia in general.

Said show is a special TV show broadcast on the occasion of the Francophonie Day on France 3 for full 15 years. One of the most popular shows, “Questions pour un champion” is dedicated to culture and the French language.

Ida Škevin entered the finals after the pre-qualifications at the French Embassy in Zagreb and the qualifications, where she competed against more than 2,000 candidates from 10 chosen countries. In the finals, she beat a candidate from Morocco.

A conversation with the show’s host noted the diverse beauties of Croatia, as well as its belonging to the Mediterranean and Central European cultural circle.

The finals saw the presence of the Secretary General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie, Abdou Diouf, who congratulated the winner, pointing out that Croatia has a monitoring status in the IOF, and President of the International Federation of French Teachers Dario Pagel.
