Minister Gordan Jandroković received French Senate Speaker Gerard Larcher
The collocutors expressed mutual satisfaction with the excellent bilateral relations, partnership cooperation in the European integration process and intensive parliamentary cooperation
Minister Jandroković also thanked the French Government’s decision to put at Croatia’s disposal experts in the EU matters, justice and general legal issues of enlargement, and agricultural policy. This form of pre-accession assistance is based on the Bilateral Cooperation Program between the Republic of Croatia and the French Republic.
Senate Speaker Larcher inquired about the development of Croatia’s relations with the neighbouring countries. Minister Jandroković said that the regional political and economic cooperation is well-developed and constantly progressing. Speaking about Croatia’s relations with the neighbouring countries, Minister Jandroković emphasized the Euro-Atlantic perspective as the best guarantee for stability and progress of the region, stressing Croatia’s dedication to the continued strengthening of regional cooperation on both the bilateral and multilateral level.
Croatia and France also maintain very good cooperation in culture, education and sports, so in that regard the collocutors touched upon the future activities of the French-German School in Zagreb.
The meeting also discussed Croatia’s participation in the Union for the Mediterranean.
