Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction with the very good bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Indonesia, which are devoid of outstanding issues, adding that they now need to be transposed into equally good economic relations

Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction with the very good bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Indonesia, which are devoid of outstanding issues, adding that they now need to be transposed into equally good economic relations. “The Republic of Croatia is at the doorstep of full-fledged EU and NATO membership, and further development of mutual relations should be viewed in that light”, said Jandroković.

Director General Marsudi, who is visiting Croatia on the occasion of the first session of the Mixed Croatia-Indonesia Committee for Economic and Technical Cooperation, expressed satisfaction with the intensive political relations between Croatia and Indonesia, pointing out the need for identifying the focus of the two countries’ economic cooperation. As areas in which Indonesia sees the possibility of deepening the cooperation and opinion exchange she noted hydro and solar energy, and trade.

Minister Jandroković sent a proposal to Indonesian Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda for opening an Indonesian embassy in Zagreb, which Director General Marsudi received with satisfaction, adding that opening an embassy in Zagreb is high on Indonesia’s list of foreign-policy priorities.
