Minister Gordan Jandroković received Andorran Foreign Minister Meritxell Mateu Pi
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković received on 18 March 2008 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra Meritxell Mateu Pi, who is on an official visit to Croatia
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the meeting that confirmed the continuously friendly co-operation. The two ministers discussed bilateral relations, describing them as excellent and devoid of outstanding issues. Both sides expressed a wish for their further development in all areas, especially in economy. In that regard, the two ministers showed interest for establishing direct co-operation between the two countries’ chambers of commerce, as well as for respective visits by economic delegations. The two sides reviewed in particular the tourism sector co-operation, as well as co-operation in other areas of joint interest.
Minister Jandroković informed Minister Meritxell Mateu Pi about Croatia’s achievements in the process of acceding to the EU and NATO membership.
The two ministers also talked about the two countries’ relations in the multilateral field, expressing mutual interest for further enhancement of the co-operation within international organisations such as the UN, Security Council, and OSCE.
Opinions were exchanged about several current issues and the development of conditions in South Eastern Europe.
