Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction with the holding of this economic manifestation, saying he was convinced that that visit by Swedish businessmen too would provide direct insight into the economic development, as well as prompt further investment and other forms of economic cooperation.

He informed the Swedish businessmen about the current status of Croatia’s EU negotiations, adding that Croatia expected to close them in the first half of the following year, during Hungary’s EU presidency.

Minister Jandroković also familiarized them with the current political circumstances in the region, pointing out that Croatia wished to be the bridge between Europe’s southeast and the EU as its future member. Given its geopolitical position and other comparative advantages, he invited the Swedish businessmen to choose Croatia for their business headquarters in the region.
