The collocutors expressed satisfaction with the high-official meetings, describing it as an incentive in the enhancement of cooperation and the solving of outstanding issues. They also expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the two ministries, especially on the operative level.

Minister Jandroković said that Croatia supports Serbia’s European integration process, reiterating that Croatia has no intention of dragging bilateral issues into any country’s accession process, or use the process to solve them.

The collocutors also agreed that the stability of South Eastern Europe rests heavily on the cooperation between Croatia and Serbia, as well as on the projection of those relations towards the region. In that regard, Minister Jandroković described as strategically important the maintaining of the region’s Euro-Atlantic perspective, adding that Croatia would continue to put forth effort in promoting democratic values and strengthening cooperation in the region.

The two ministers also talked about the forthcoming discussion on the legality of Kosovo’s proclamation of independence before the International Court of Justice at the Hague, as well as about Serbia’s intention to organize 2011 in Belgrade a meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
