Minister Gordan Jandroković met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Samuel Žbogar and Prime Minister of Slovenia Borut Pahor

Minister Jandroković said that the talks on finding a solution to the border dispute between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia were progressing well

In the press release issued on the eve of the opening of the Bled Strategic Forum, Minister Jandroković said that the talks on finding a solution to the border dispute between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia were progressing well. He said that a lot had been achieved since the meeting of Prime Ministers at Trakošćan, but that a lot of work was still ahead. To the question whether it was realistic to expect the problems to be solved by the end of this year, Minister Jandroković replied: "I think we are on the right way."

In his address to the press, Slovenian Minister Žbogar said that the solution to the problem between Slovenia and Croatia was discussed, and they reviewed the developments since the meeting in Trakošćan, as well as where the progress had been made. He said that he believed a lot had been done and in earnest. He said nothing more concrete about the results of today’s meeting that was held immediately before the session of the international Bled Forum conference. However, he pointed out that the talks were going well and developing in a constructive manner with mutual respect and building of trust. He added that he could not be more specific as results would be achieved more easily without any major public statements.

In the afternoon Minister Jandroković is meeting with Zoran Jankovič, the Mayor of Ljubljana.
