Both sides expressed interest in further enhancing the relations between the two countries, which were described as very good and devoid of outstanding issues. The two collocutors also pointed out the high level of co-operation in priority foreign-policy issues, from the EU and NATO accession, to co-operation within the US-Adriatic Charter and exchanging experiences within regional initiatives.

Emphasizing that the two countries share the same goals directed at the Euro-Atlantic integration, Minister Jandroković said that Croatia will assist Macedonia through its experience along this path. He pointed out the readiness to continue with the intensive dialogue between Croatia and Macedonia in all of the crucial bi- and multilateral areas, as well as through a concrete and direct co-operation between the relevant departments. Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction with the announced official visit by President Crvenkovski to Croatia in November this year.

During the first day of his official visit to Macedonia, Minister Jandroković will also meet with representatives of the Croatian companies, members of the Macedonian-Croatian Skopje Business Club, and representatives of the Croatian Community in Macedonia.
