Minister Gordan Jandroković met with Irish Minister for European Affairs Dick Roche on sidelines of “Croatia Summit 2009”

At the meeting both sides confirmed very good relations between the two countries without any outstanding issues, and they also discussed the possibilities for further co-operation

Likewise, they exchanged views about the accession process of the Republic of Croatia for becoming a full member of the European Union. Minister Jandroković reiterated Croatia’s standpoint that accession negotiations should be separated from the bilateral issues.

Minister Roche invited Minister Jandroković to visit Ireland and to report to the Irish officials and experts on the present foreign policy priorities and activities of the Republic of Croatia, and at the same time to learn in more detail about the Irish experiences in the process of accession to the European Union.
