On the sidelines of the second day of “Croatia Summit 2009” held in Dubrovnik, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković met on 10 July 2009 with Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Feder

The collocutors confirmed that the relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Russian Federation were good and pointed out numerous possibilities for improving co-operation. In this sense, they in particular discussed the existing possibilities for co-operation in the energy sectors, focusing on the possible joint projects in the field of energy.

Minister Jandroković also reiterated that with the aim of promoting tourist visits, Croatia suspended the visa regime for the nationals of the Russian Federation during the summer season.
