Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction with the yesterday published European Commission’s annual Croatia Progress Report, describing it as positive and pointing out its significance for the completion of Croatia’s accession negotiations

Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction with the yesterday published European Commission’s annual Croatia Progress Report, describing it as positive and pointing out its significance for the completion of Croatia’s accession negotiations. He said Croatia is aware of the challenges that lay ahead and remains dedicated to fulfilling the rest of the obligations from the negotiations process, so that the negotiations could enter their final phase. In that regard, he pointed out Croatia’s readiness to carry out the remaining reforms, namely the justice and public administration reform, and the battle against corruption and organized crime. Furthermore, Croatia remains firmly dedicated to full cooperation with the International Court in the Hague.

The meeting also discussed the drawing up of the EU financial package for Croatia and founding of a working group for drafting the accession treaty. The collocutors also talked about cooperating in the implementation of the communication strategy for informing the Croatian public about Croatia’s EU accession.
