The collocutors confirmed the excellent bilateral relations and partnership cooperation in the Euro-Atlantic integration process, with an emphasis on the contribution to the stabilization of the region. Minister Jandroković thanked for France’s support for Croatia’s EU accession negotiations, especially during the French presidency, and the initiative to unblock the negotiations.

Minister Lellouche remarked that France appreciated Croatia’s efforts in reforming the judicial system and public administration, as well as in combating corruption, communicating French President Nicolas Sarcozy’s full support for Croatia’s EU accession.

The collocutors also exchanged opinions about the situation in the region of South Eastern Europe, pointing out that the Euro-Atlantic perspective of its countries is the best guarantee of lasting peace and stability.
