The ministers described the bilateral relations between Croatia and Poland as very good and friendly.

Minister Jandroković said Croatia appreciated Poland’s strong and continuous support during its EU accession, informing Minister Sikorski about the current status of the negotiations and pointing out that Croatia remained dedicated to its goal – closing the negotiations as soon as possible and signing the Treaty of Accession.

The ministers also discussed the possibilities of further cooperation regarding the transfer of Poland’s experiences during the accession process and after joining the EU, primarily in regard to the agricultural sector reform and regional development. Minister Sikorski expressed support for Croatia’s accession process and hope for a successful cooperation during Poland’s EU presidency in the second half of the following year.
