Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, who visited a wider Tomislavgrad area on Monday, pledged the continued support of Croatia to the Croat-populated areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"This area (southwestern Bosnia-Herzegovina) has a potential and it will always enjoy the support of this government in Croatia," Grlić Radman said, underscoring the importance of cross-border cooperation.

The minister called on business people to invest in this area.

On Tuesday, Grlić Radman will hold a wreath-laying ceremony at Kandija in the town of Bugojno to commemorate the Croat victims of the 1992-1995 war in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the Croat-Bosniak conflict, an estimated 15,000 local Croats fled Bugojno. About 300 victims were killed and 15 casualties are still unaccounted-for.
