MFEA reacts to Mađarević’s Facebook posts

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs strongly distances itself from the views which its employee Elizabeta Mađarević, a staff member of the Croatian Embassy in Berlin since January 2019, has posted on social networks, as reported by index.hr.

Given serious indications that rules of the Croatian foreign affairs service and the Civil Servants Act have been violated, the employee was immediately called back to Zagreb so that facts regarding her posts could be determined, after which the Ministry will take appropriate measures in accordance with the Foreign Affairs Act and the Civil Servants Act.
